Prairie Ornamental has a membership ranging from B.C. to
Newfoundland. Since the early 1980's an auction has been held in the spring and fall as a fund
raiser. This auction has gained a reputation for being well organized and attracting breeders with quality birds.
POPWA also organized an annual Federation show until
1990. In 1992 it was decided to
join forces with Lloydminster and the show has been held there ever since.

Our Annual Spring Auction was a big success with over 500 boxes consigned. The auctioneers did a fabulous job of keeping things moving along, and keeping the crowd engaged. Some pictures and follow-up from the sale is now posted on our NEWS page.
